through the entire project, from the
Nacentes Square to the Caminho do Mar
Square, from where it returns to its cycle.
The apartments are surrounded by

The entire project is based on a detailed
study of solar orientation, natural
lighting and ventilation, incorporating
concepts from bioclimatic architecture,
which focuses on proportioning internal
environmental comfort and energetic
efficiency.
The understanding of solar trajectories
indicates the areas which receive more
and less solar radiation, and defines the
position of the aquatic park and other
sectors. Natural lighting is controlled
through openings, and their use
acknowledges that Brazil is a tropical
country, therefore, it requires care as not to
create areas under the greenhouse effect.
Natural ventilation is achieved through
openings, inducing cross-ventilation. The
use of these strategies helps minimize
the use of artificial interior cooling
systems, such as air-conditioning, thus
attaining energetic efficiency.
